Canadian Wildlife Artist Roy Nauffts
Roy was born in Toronto, Ontario on December 2nd, 1969. He is the second of five children. Roy remembers drawing and sketching since he was old enough to hold a pencil. Roy creates his paintings in his Orangeville home/studio where he lives with his wife and three children. When Roy finds time away from his busy life, he can be found hiking along the Bruce Trail or Rouge Valley with his family, collecting his never ending supply of reference material.

Roy works in many different mediums but feels most at home working with Acrylics on Masonite. His main passion is wildlife and nature but does occasionally paint still life or anything that 'moves' him. Artists that have influenced Roy over the years include Robert Bateman, John Seerey-Lester and Carl Brenders. The position and dynamics of Roy's work have been said to have "such a captivating sense of the moment that they are hard to resist". You might catch Roy exhibiting his works at one of the many exhibits in Southern Ontario. Check his web sites for updates!
